BETTER TOGETHER
Community partners are vital to Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools, providing essen琀椀al resources
and enriching our students’ educa琀椀onal experiences. Their impact is invaluable, from mentorship and
academic support to funding and supplies. While we can’t tell every story in this report, we’re featuring
a few highlights on the following two pages and providing a QR code to explore more partners on our
website. We are grateful for their ongoing support and collabora琀椀on in enhancing our schools.
The mission of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Development
Fund is to improve the quality of life of La琀椀no families in Greater
Kansas City by engaging the La琀椀no community in philanthropy
to build stronger communi琀椀es through grantmaking, scholarship
support, and college advising.

Great Jobs KC o昀昀ers 昀椀nancial assistance to individuals from
low- to moderate-income households, enabling them to pursue
college degrees or job training programs that lead to sustainable
careers. Originally launched as KC Scholars in 2016, the ini琀椀a琀椀ve
was shaped by a community-driven e昀昀ort inspired by one
individual’s commitment to postsecondary educa琀椀on.
