A Message from Randy Lopez
President, KCKPS Board of Educa琀椀on
As President of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) Board
of Educa琀椀on, I am honored to re昀氀ect on our district’s achievements
and progress over the past year. Our commi琀琀ed and talented sta昀昀 and
our thriving students are at the heart of our success. And we recognize
the value and strength of our partnerships with our community. These
community alliances are vital, as they bring invaluable resources,
exper琀椀se, and support to our schools, helping to create a thriving
educa琀椀onal ecosystem for our students.
In addi琀椀on to our outstanding sta昀昀, our community partners play a
crucial role in enhancing the educa琀椀onal experience for our students.
They help bridge gaps, provide enrichment opportuni琀椀es, and foster
an environment where every student can 昀氀ourish. And they re昀氀ect our
community’s success.
By working together, we create a suppor琀椀ve network that extends
beyond the walls of our schools, fostering a sense of unity and shared
purpose in Kansas City, Kansas, and Wyando琀琀e County.
The KCKPS Board of Educa琀椀on is unwavering in our commitment to
